Rebecca O’Brien, Partner

Rebecca O’Brien is a partner and co-founder of O’Brien & O’Neil LLP. Rebecca worked for Ropes & Gray, a leading international law firm, for five years and with O’Brien Cavanagh Ivanova LLP for seven years before co-founding O’Brien & O’Neil LLP.

Rebecca works with the goal of helping clients stay in control and informed. She enjoys getting to know clients on a personal level so that she can craft an estate plan that helps them feel secure and confident about the future. She received the honor of being voted #1 in Lexington and Gold Regional Favorite in the 2020 Reader's Choice Awards. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys tromping through the woods with her husband, two teenaged children and the family dog, Luna.

Elizabeth O’Neil, Partner

Elizabeth O’Neil is a partner and co-founder of O’Brien O’Neil LLP. Liz’s estate planning practice focuses on helping individuals and their families plan for the future while putting their mind at ease for today. Liz’s approach focuses on listening to her clients and helping to educate them on the law and how it impacts them. Her background in education and years teaching shines through her ability to break down complex legal concepts and answer clients questions clearly with kindness and patience.

In addition to her Juris Doctorate, Liz has a Master’s Degree in Education from Harvard. Prior to law school, Liz was Director of Community Nursery School in Lexington. Outside of work Liz keeps active in the Lexington community as Co-President of the Cary Library Foundation. Mother to four adult children, and two bonus-sons, (and a labrodoodle named Charlie), in her free time Liz loves to hike or discover new bicycle routes in her hometown of Boxford, MA.
